Once again we prepare for another highly successful celebration of
African World artistic creativity in South Florida with the 4th Annual
Oscar Thomas Memorial Peoples Art Exhibition, which will run from April 3
through May 21, at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center Gallery, 2166
Dr. ML King, Jr. Blvd. The Grand Opening Reception will be on Saturday,
April 3, from 6-9 p.m.
Oscar Thomas was a dedicated and generous self-taught artist who
celebrated the genius and beauty of the community he loved, which loved
him back. Kuumba Artists Collective is honored to present this annual
tribute to his memory in partnership with the African Heritage Cultural
Arts Center. We warmly welcome your participation and contributions toward
making this years event another outstanding success.
